Freelance programmer has all the essential tools needed to complete the task given to him. For employer that means that you don't have to provide a freelancer with any tools, and trust me those can be quite expensive. Here are several tips when choosing the coder:
- If your project costs $100 or more, don't choose a coder with low rankings.
- Lowest bid doesn't always mean good. RAC has a coder page that lets you know everything about the coder. Review it before accepting the bid.
- If your bid is less then $20, you may consider a coder with low rankings.
- If the coder has low score and high amount of jobs completed, it usually means that previous customers weren't satisfied with him/her, so don't choose him.
- When coder completes his or her job, be sure to leave him a rating, as it helps both him and you.
- Don't ask for illegal content. Read RAC's rules of what you can and cannot post, otherwise your bid request will be rejected by RAC's staff.
